About this Event
Join Marina from The Fabric Folk for a hands-on darning workshop that's as feel-good as it is useful.
What to expect
Marina will guide you step by step as you master how to darn your knits, ensuring you have hands-on help every step of the way.
This low-pressure environment is perfect for first-timers. We provide a friendly, supportive setting where the focus is on the craft, humanity and creativity rather than perfection, making it easy to switch off and enjoy the process.
It’s a wonderful way to rekindle your creativity while learning a valuable, lifelong skill. You'll finish the session with a mended garment and the confidence to keep your wardrobe in use for longer, walking away with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed connection to your clothes.
What to bring
- Please bring your own damaged knitted items for advice and to work on.
