New York-based artist and sustainable stylist Eleonora Volpe will unveil a selection of her latest paintings in the upcoming show "Visceral Visions" at the Oculus World Trade Center in New York City. Volpe’s first solo, single-day exhibit opens on September 19, 3-10pm.
Volpe's soul healing paintings are created using a sustainable approach which translates into upcycling cardboard waste into canvases. Without pre-planning, she spontaneously layers colors and movements on the canvas to channel her inner intuition rather than focusing on defined forms. Through a trance-like, meditative process she remains fully immersed in each region of the painting until it feels intuitively complete. This unique approach results in ethereal abstract works that quiet the rational mind and allow the deeper self to speak. By removing filters and releasing control, Volpe taps into pure expression of the present moment.
In addition to the physical paintings, select works will also be available as NFTs, allowing a new level of accessibility and collector engagement. Specialty poster prints, live music, and refreshments will add to the immersive opening night experience. DJ set and wine sponsored by organic winery FARRM WINES will be available 6-10pm
