Visalia PAL and TCAG will be hosting a "Bike Safety Rodeo" on Wednesday, June 26 from 8:30am - 10am at the Wittman Center (315 N Pearl St). The event is FREE for children between the ages of 5-17 yrs. We will be giving away FREE helmets and we will be raffling off many prizes including a few bikes!! This event is to encourage kids to ride safely and how to perform a mechanical safety check on their bicycle. We will have a (3) traffic skills courses where they will learn to how brake safely, move through a slalom of cones, and a traffic course. Children are encouraged to bring their bicycles and if they do not have one, we will have loaner bikes they can borrow for the course.
