Sanya Kroitor – virtuoso violinist and international composer – has a unique sound to his playing containing wide musical knowledge of many styles: jazz neo-classical Balkan music klezmer and gypsy music and fusion of these styles and others.
Sanya was born in Moldova and came to Israel in 1992. Since then he has participated regularly in musical TV shows such as Shimon Parnas’s Taverna Reah Menta and on programs of Eli Yatzpan and Dan Shilon.
He has performed together with Ahinoam.Nini David Da’or Shlomi Shabbat Amir Benayoun Dudu Fischer Rita Sarit Hadad Albina and others stars.
He has been involved in recordings both in Israel and abroad.
He has taken part in Klezmer Festivals in Poland Estonia Toronto WOMAD in Australia and New Zealand England Spain and others. In recent years he has appeared frequently in France and Moldova.
He recently returned to perform in Israel.
