Virtual The Sky Tonight Astronomy Talk - Patterns in Nature

Join skywatchers from around the world via Zoom as the Fleet Science Center's resident astronomer, Dr. Lisa Will, takes a closer look at the wonders of our skies on every third Wednesday of the month. This month is Dr. Lisa takes a viewer request to link our usual topic with the arts, so we have interpreted this as finding the "art" in our view of the sky. From the movement of the moon and planets in the Solar System, we can trace out images that tell us not only what time of year it is, but where the Earth is in relation to other planetary objects. Join us to appreciate the patterns in nature that have helped us to better understand the cosmos!
