Dear Tribe,
We are dancing with you all in spirit at these times... Hoping you all have been healthy, vibrant and keeping your immune systems high!✨✨✨
We at TRIBEspace are happy to announce that we will be launching our weekly Virtual Drum Circle broadcasted to you live from our space in Toronto every SUNDAY. We invite you to join us for a chance to drum, shake and groove with our global community and meet fellow rhythm-makers from around the world.
The drum is the most ancient tool for building a relationship with the earth, our bodies, and community. The benefits of collective drumming has been shown to boost our health, decrease stress and increase mindfulness. Now is such an important time for us to connect with our inner rhythm and our human family through the power of the drum!

The early Sunday Virtual Family Class (11am-Noon EST) will be geared towards youth: using any percussion or toys that make sound, this classes teaches youth to make music in a fun way! Singing, playing, group harmony, reading music, beatbox, drumming and rhythm fundamentals will all be covered. This will be a great rhythm intro for youth/families, and create a basic music skillset that can be applied to learning any instrument.
Our second weekly Sunday Adult Drum Workshop (12:30pm-1:30pm) will be aimed towards adults learning to improve their rhythm skills and playing ability. As a group, we will engage in learning hand techniques, world rhythms, layering over songs, speaking rhythms, improvisation, and group patterns. Traditional patterns from Africa, India, Latin America and more will be covered.
.
? This weekly series will be aimed at creating a safe container for musical expression with a worldwide community! Opening the possibility for workshops in cyberspace is a direction we are exploring at TRIBEspace.
Your support not only benefits this space at these challenging times but also will offer tremendous value toward your health and spiritual lifestyle goals?
