Cancelled again due to Corona.The Project Week is an international course offering a combination of exercises for a virtual simulation of a 3D scanner (VirScan3D) and real application of 3D terrestrial laser scanning of historic buildings . It offers practical experience in virtual and real scanning and an introduction to the theoretical basics of laser scanning technologies, construction of the scanners and application areas.
There is no registration fee. Eligibility for participation is online application and enrolment at one of the partner universities (Bamberg, KNUCA or Oldenburg). Costs for travels and accomodation (youth hostel) for the students from the participating partner organisations of this project are covered by the organizers. Lunches are self-pay. The number of non-Bamberg participants is limited to 6 students, total number to 12 students.
