The Virginia Beach Historic Preservation Commission was established by the City Council in 2008 as an advisory body on issues related to the preservation of the city's historic buildings, structures, and sites.The commission seeks to preserve, protect, and maintain the historic identity of Virginia Beach and former Princess Anne County through advocacy, public awareness, and increased public involvement.
Once a year we hold one of our meetings in a facility where we can invite the public to see what we do and learn about the actions and initiatives that are being spearheaded by VBHPC. Please accept our invitation to learn more about us.
