Violin & Fiddle Summer Bootcamp 6-week Group Class (July 11th-August 22nd)

Are you looking to learn the violin or fiddle? For total beginners or beginners who have already picked up the violin but need guidance, this 6-week group class is a great way to figure out the basics so you can play some simple and fun songs. We will not only get into songs, but also will build a foundation in posture and basic music theory, with some time devoted to reading music. The pace will be reasonable and flexible, focused more on making sure you make real progress than rushing through a curriculum. We want you to know have the foundations in place to keep working after the group class ends. Group class teacher Danny Severance is a working violinist and fiddler currently in multiple bands in Chicago while teaching private lessons at Phil Circle Music; Danny is also a professional tutor with deep experience working with all sorts of learning styles.
