It's that time of the month again - the third Wednesday - time for Vinyl Sisters with Outerglobe Femxle DJ Relay with the finest all vinyl Reggae of all styles played by this month's hosts Miss Feelgood and Kaya M with special guests. It's FREE and one of the most friendly events in the calendar. Indian vegan street food from En Root is on sale til 9pm as well.Vinyl Sisters are delighted to present a FABULOUS line up of guests this month: Making their Outerglobe Femxle DJ Relay debut are Nads - NADENE BROWN - Dennis Brown's daughter playing from a solid foundation of her father's music, TAPAURIKI BRIGHTWELL visiting from New Zealand, Aoteroa who heads up a strong collective of femxle sounds there with some dub plates and a wonderful wide selection from ska to roots and MISS FEE coincidentally visiting from Melbourne, Australia AND popular returner Lady Issachar who since her first ever live set with us not so long ago has become much in demand for her deep roots tuuunes and MAYBE Grace of Spades whose energy spiced NYC Ska and Rocksteady nights are legendary MAY pass through. WHAT!!!! WOW!!!
Miss Feelgood - Shirley Slattery is known for her Studio One and other classics selection with rewinds and singalongs galore. She held a residency at the much missed Mango Landing and has a regular night at the Railway Tulse Hill/StreathamKaya M plays bold sets crossing decades, favouring message music with exclusive RITS (Room in the Sky) prereleases peppering her sets and recently played the Eden Festival and hosts events in Guldford in association with her Kane FM Show as well.
