Bill DeYoung is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida. Nationally recognized for his music journalism, he was a writer and editor at various Florida newspapers for three decades.
Gabrielle Calise is proud to report on offbeat Florida, nostalgia and music for her hometown paper. Her favorite stories explore our state's history and provide context for local oddities. She also love profiling fascinating people in our community and both photographing and reviewing concerts. Before she joined the Tampa Bay Times as an intern on the digital team, she graduated from the University of Florida in 2018 and was a journalism fellow in Germany through the RIAS Berlin exchange program. She is a big fan of long-lost tourist attractions, oat milk lattes and film photography
