Come visit the Historic Haile Homestead decorated for the holidays! The 1856 plantation house is unique in the Nation for its “Talking Walls.” Over 12500 words were written on the walls by family and friends going back to 1859! Learn the story of the house the enslaved people who labored there the Haile family – and the parties held there in the early 1900s.
Tours will be conducted from December 6th through December 28th Saturdays (10 AM to 2 PM) and Sundays (12 PM to 4 PM). Last tour begins 45 minutes before closing. $5 per person under 12 free! Group tours available. Private weekday tours available: Fewer than 10 people $10 per person; 10 or more group rate of $4 per person.
