Paint-Sculpting Live Demo and Workshop by Gaffrey Art Material
Gaffrey is a family-run small-batch acrylic paint company, specializing in first-of-its-kind sculptural acrylic paint. Since the products are one of a kind, artists have the opportunity to explore a new avenue of expression with 3D eye-catching artwork. How can you make your own one-of-a-kind sculpted-paint masterpiece? Easy! We decided to have a workshop as an ongoing feature throughout Vintage Day. Anybody can walk up to the Gaffrey Art Tent (on Pier 16) to make their own fake dessert with their paint for $25. There will be a variety of dried paint toppings along with their paints in piping bags to customize your own treat, and their team will be walking you through how to make it. Justin, Gaffrey’s founder, will be live painting throughout the day too with a demo + interacting with people informing about their products and talking about art and stuff.
