Thursday, Nov 13 | 6:00–8:00 PM
📍 FASHION ZONE @ TMU, 44 Gerrard St E Room 312, Toronto, ON M5B 1W7
Give your clothes a fresh twist with just the right vintage buttons. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to professionally hand-sew a variety of button styles — from flat and shank buttons to decorative statement ones. We'll go over proper techniques, tools, thread matching, placement, and how to reinforce buttons so they last.
You'll get plenty of time to practice by sewing multiple buttons, and we’ll troubleshoot common issues like loose threads, poor alignment, or mismatched sizing. Walk away confident in refreshing and mending your wardrobe with simple, impactful touches.
