FAQ
Q-What is vintage audio fest?
A- It is a vintage audio buy, sell, trade event open to the public.
Q-How much do you charge to get in?
A- Admission is free.
Q-What kind of equipment will be there?
A- 1940s-1990s Stereo, hifi, Speakers, home audio equipment.
Q- What about Pro Audio, Studio equipment, Musical instruments and Video/Home Theatre equipment?
A - Vendors may bring these items but that is not the primary focus.
Q- Will there be vinyl, tapes, and cds for sale?
A- Yes, but this is not a record show.
Q- Do vendors and exhibitors accept apple pay, venmo, zelle, cashapp, credit cards, bitcoin, memecoin, crytpo currency or red Lobster Gift cards?
A- Bring cash. Vendors may take other payment types up to their discretion.
Q- Are there ATMs at the venue?
A- Yes, but they are always empty or limit withdraw. Bring cash or plan on driving to your bank on a Saturday!
Q-Why are there two prices for spaces?
A- The smaller spaces are on the interior and do not have access to power. The larger spaces are on the exterior and have access to power.
Q- Do vendors need to bring tables?
A- Tables and chairs are provided for vendors. Seating for attendees is also available.
Q-Will there be any food onsite?
A-Eat a big breakfast or plan on a late lunch. Currently there is no food onsite.
Q-I am an exhibitor, will there be help loading and unloading?
A- We provide carts, hand dollies and will assist as best as possible. Bring yer own help if you think you need it!
Q-Can I bring my stuff to Magnetic Tape and you guys take it over there and sell it for me?
A-No, sell your own stuff.
Q-How much should I charge for my gear?
A- You should be at least 30-50 percent below the eBay completed listings for whatever you are selling. Parts machines or items with deficiencies should be heavily discounted. Most items we bring are $40 or less. Do your own research!
Q- When is setup and load in?
A- Load in is DAY OF ONLY. Load in starts at 8am. Event starts at 10.
Q- Where do I park?
A- There is free parking at the venue and there is parking available at the hotels. We are not responsible if you get towed parking illegally! Scope it out, do some planning.
Q-I only have a few items, should I bother booking a space?
A- at $35 if you have ten items you could certainly cover cost and make a little money. Bring a box of duplicate records or tapes you don't need and you might be surprised what sells!
