PAREF Westbridge hosts Vinta Cup 2025November 11, 2025 | Iloilo City

After three years of anticipation, the spirit of brotherhood and healthy competition among the PAREF Boys’ Schools comes alive once more as PAREF Westbridge School in Iloilo City hosts the Vinta Cup 2025 from November 15 to 17, 2025.
This year’s edition of the biennial event will gather around 300 participants involving students, faculty, and staff from the four PAREF Boys’ Schools: PAREF Westbridge School (Iloilo), PAREF Springdale School (Cebu), PAREF Northfield School (Antipolo), and PAREF Southridge School (Muntinlupa).
Anchored on the PAREF system’s thrust of value formation through academic and co-curricular activities, the Vinta Cup aims to unite young men from various campuses through sports, academics, and the arts, fostering camaraderie, sportsmanship, and excellence in a spirit of brotherhood.
The four-day Vinta Cup 2025 will showcase a blend of sports, academic, and cultural activities. The event begins with a workshop, coaches’ meeting, and Welcome Dinner, followed by the opening ceremonies on Day One, which feature journalism and robotics contests alongside sports competitions in basketball, football, badminton, table tennis, chess, and darts, capped by a Cultural Contest. Day Two highlights the SumoBot Battle, Larong Pinoy, Arduino Race, and the final rounds of the said sports, concluding with the Closing Ceremonies and Cultural Night. The celebration ends on Day Three with an Iloilo City tour hosted by DOT Region VI and a friendly football match with Rosevale School.
In addition to the competitions, this year’s Vinta Cup will also highlight Ilonggo culture and cuisine, giving participants the opportunity to experience local heritage, delicacies, and well-known dining spots in Iloilo as part of the event’s cultural immersion activities.
The Vinta Cup 2025 is held in partnership with its 11 Platinum Sponsors, namely: Angelina Bakeshop, McDonald’s, Pioneer Batch 1996, Accentline, Buenaflor Family, Plumbum (Pb), Prime Electric Holdings Inc., GWP Engagement Solutions, Villa Darroca, NIG Marketing, and Gascon.
More than a tournament, the Vinta Cup remains a celebration of unity, discipline, and excellence among PAREF Boys’ Schools. It provides an opportunity for students to develop their character and leadership, preparing them to become men of integrity and service in their communities and future fields of endeavor.
