Vins de Pays D’Oc at Toronto’s stackt market this summer

‘Savour the South of France’

From June 1st to August 31st, 2022, Vins de Pays D’Oc will host a wine bar campaign as official wine partner at Toronto’s stackt market, Canada’s largest shipping container market. As official wine partner, Vins de Pays D’Oc will reveal a pop-up wine bar and patio lounge designed to transport guests to Southern France.

Vins de Pays D’Oc seeks to surprise and delight wine enthusiasts and newbies alike with a curated discovery menu of more than 30 white, rosé, and red wines from the region. Visitors can relax and play a game of pétanque in the outdoor lounge every day and once a month live entertainment will be featured.

The Bar’s wine list will change each month to showcase the diversity of varietals and new and modern styles of IGP Pays D’Oc wines. Wines will be served across all licensed patio spaces by the glass and bottle, and offered with culinary menus for dine-in or take-out.

For those who have never tried IGP Pays D’Oc wines, this is a rare opportunity to find many options all in one place … and to Savour the South of France!

About IGP Vins de Pays D’Oc

This long coastal strip spanning 240 kilometres across the Mediterranean Sea from just east of Nîmes to the Spanish border is a multi-faceted region with endless sunshine, benevolent winds and variations in elevation that make it possible to successfully grow no fewer than 58 permitted grape varieties. The IGP Pays d’Oc (Indication Géographique Protégée, or, Protected Geographic Indication) is an area that serious collectors routinely overlook given its reputation for ready-to-drink wines of a nebulous geographic region.

Yet the designation has been steadily transforming, helped by a modern approach, foreign interest and investment and varietal labelling. More than just pleasure-for-price, the area is also a non-conformist playground, thanks to the freedom afforded by the Pays d’Oc IGP designation.
