To continue our tradition of choosing a foundation to support - this year we have selected the Michael V Langsdorf Memorial Police Fire EMS Scholarship Fund.
In memory of the North County Police Cooperative Officer Michael Langsdorf who was shot and killed while responding to a disturbance in June of 2019. Continuing their son’s legacy of selflessness and generosity, The Langsdorf family has created the Michael V. Langsdorf Memorial Police Fire EMS Scholarship Fund. The scholarship will financially support individuals seeking to pursue training and a career as a first responder. To date, they have provided more than $75,000 in scholarships, as well as equipment at police and fire academies.
