Join us for a Tribute to pianist, jazz composer and bandleader Duke Ellington, led by award-winning vocalist Vinnie Knight. She has toured extensively and has brought her music to Europe, Africa and Asia. Vinnie attended the prestigious Juilliard School of Music and has shared her talent in mentoring aspiring jazz vocalists. Vocalist Frank Cubillo joins Ms. Knight for this special evening, accompanied by Jonathan Greenberg on trumpet, Marc Marique on piano, Jeremy Ward on bass, and Ellard Forrester on Drums.
Beer and wine available for purchase. Proceeds support the museum.
Admission is free for museum members $5 for non-members. Admission is at the door. Doors open at 5:30 pm.
