VINEYARD TOUR & WINE TASTING AT MANITOBA'S ONLY WINE VINEYARD

We are so excited to share our third annual Vineyard Tour!

Shrugging Doctor Beverage Company, a Winery founded in 2017 and based in Winnipeg, has been growing grapes in Southern Manitoba's Pembina Valley for almost 9 years. As far as we know this is the very first commercial vineyard, ever, in Manitoba. Because it is a working farm, we only have the opportunity to have a tour once a year!

Ticket holders will meet us at our Winery in Sunny St. James in Winnipeg, where we have rented a comfortable greyhound style bus. We will travel down to the Vineyard (around 1.5 hour trip) together.

When we reach the vineyard you will be shown around the vines of our 10+ grape varietals, and master winemaker Zach Isaacs will give his story on the journey of horticulture and winemaking in Manitoba's harsh winters. (You might even be able to taste some of the grapes!)

Throughout the tour, small samples of different wines will be provided, all made from Manitoba grown ingredients.

We will end the tour with a little barbecue (vegetarian options available) while we share stories and answer questions, enjoying the wondrous nature of Manitoba's Pembina Valley.

When we return by bus back to the Winery in Winnipeg, ticket holders will be able to purchase sealed bottles of wine from our tasting room, as well as some first access to some seasonal products not yet released to the public.

We will be hosting this tour the week before grape harvest to ensure that the grapes are the biggest, best and tastiest they could possibly be.
