Vincenzo brings his own supper club to Reading Room with a menu designed to surprise, push boundaries and have a little fun along the way.

Many of you will already know Vincenzo from the kitchen at Reading Room. Born and raised in Barletta on the coast of Puglia in south-east Italy, his connection to seafood started early and continues to shape the way he cooks today.

Some of his earliest memories are in the kitchen with his grandmother and his mother, Mariella, making fresh pasta, tomato sauce and preparing long Sunday lunches and Christmas feasts that brought the whole family together. By the age of twelve, he already knew he wanted to become a chef. His career has since taken him through Michelin-starred kitchens in Italy, France and Denmark, including six formative years in Copenhagen where his style evolved most. Today, his cooking blends Mediterranean roots with French technique and subtle Japanese influence, always led by seasonal ingredients.

The Table
This is a menu built around flavour, curiosity and creativity, with each course designed to unfold naturally throughout the evening.
There may even be a few surprises… but we’ll keep those to ourselves for now.

Native Oyster
A pristine native oyster, delicately paired with vibrant passion fruit and a gentle warmth of fresh ginger
Smoked Scallops
Lightly smoked scallops with shaved fennel, bright lemon, and a playful note of popcorn
Onion Consomé
A deeply comforting onion broth, enriched with aromatic spices and lifted with a touch of sumac
Hake
Perfectly cooked hake served with a rich langoustine bisque, finished with tomato and fresh chives
Veal Fillet
Tender veal fillet accompanied by courgettes and a luxurious truffle and wasabi jus
White Chocolate Namelaka
Silky white chocolate namelaka with tart rhubarb and vibrant sea buckthorn

Our supper clubs are all about bringing people together. You’ll be seated on shared tables alongside other guests, creating a relaxed, sociable atmosphere where conversations flow as easily as the food. Come with friends or come solo, you’ll be in good company either way.
