About this Event
We are excited to hear from Italian author, translator & art critic VINCENZO LATRONICO as he joins us to discuss his exceptional & scathing sociological novel PERFECTION following the lives two Millennial expats as they slowly slide from the thrill of the twenty-four-hour-party to stultifying, contemporary ennui.
This event will be chaired by Voce Books co-owner Maria Lomunno Judd.
‘...a jewel of a novel: precisely cut, intricately faceted, prismatically dazzling at its heart. Vicenzo Latronico is the finest of writers...’ LAUREN GROFF, author of THE VASTER WILDS
VINCENZO LATRONICO was born in Rome in 1984 & currently lives in Berlin. He is an art critic & has translated many books into Italian, by authors such as George Orwell, Oscar Wilde, F. Scott Fitzgerald & Hanif Kureishi. ‘Perfection’ is his fourth novel, the first to be translated into English.
This is one of our BORDERLESS events where we foreground world literature in translation, & welcome authors from across the world to discuss their work, often alongside their translators.
