Sign Up for Scarecrow Materials!About this Event
The Village of Barrington invites residents, businesses and organizations within the Village to sign up for materials to build and decorate a scarecrow for the Annual Scarecrow Decorating Competition!
Participants will receive:
1 Bale of Straw
1 Cornstalk
Twine & Burlap
IMPORTANT DATES:
Week of September 15
Business/Organization materials will be dropped off
Week of September 15
Resident materials will arrive at Public Works Facility for PICK-UP (exact date TBD)
Friday, September 26
Scarecrow to be displayed in time for the Homecoming Parade! (Saturday, September 27)
Thursday, October 2 - Friday, October 31
Voting begins and ends
Thursday, November 6: All winners will be announced!
