Do you have a craft you enjoy? The Village will be open on select weekends for hand crafters to bring in their own supplies and socialize with other crafters. Come enjoy our beautiful gardens or historic buildings while starting a new craft project or finally finishing that project you've been working on forever.
Why are we doing this? Each fall we host Handcrafted: A Traditional Trades and Crafts Fair for our visitors can watch craftspeople at work and visit with them about their trade. Think of Village Crafting Circle as a prelude to that event where you can test out our space or just come and enjoy crafting in a unique environment. No visitors will be around during Village Crafting Circle, just you and fellow crafters. Still have questions? Visit our website or email [email protected].
Types of crafts include but are not limited the following:
Crochet, Drawing, Felting, Knitting, Macramé, Needle point, Painting, Pottery, Spinning, Stained glass, Weaving, Whittling, Wood burning, And other hands-on crafts! Not sure if you should bring your craft? Contact [email protected]!
