Viking Dagger and Scabbard Making Workshop

Children will learn about the ancient craft of Bladesmithing and the art of sword design including the role a blacksmith played in society. To complement this exciting workshop, we will discuss the ancient technology of leatherwork. Children will make a leather scabbard for their Viking Seax. Led by our friendly staff we will help the children add their own personal touch by inscribing their name on the blade using the Runic alphabet.
