Een grimmig sprookje en het veelgeprezen acteerdebuut van zangeres Björk: The Juniper Tree is een vergeten parel van de Europese arthousecinema én betekende de doorbraak van de veel te vroeg overleden regisseur Nietzchka Keene. Op onze uitnodiging componeerde de Japanse muzikante Midori Hirano een gloednieuwe soundtrack als eerbetoon. Die gaat in première tijdens Videodroom 2025.
