About this Event
This class explores how editors shape story, emotion, and rhythm through cuts, transitions, sound, and visual structure. Come learn the core theories, techniques, and terminology of modern video editing. Students will gain a strong conceptual foundation to support any editing software or workflow. We'll explore real world examples of how editors told the power of the narrative for any video project. By the end of the class, students will develop a deeper understanding of the artistic and technical choices that underpin effective editing.
*please note: this course is not designed for any particular software tutorials, this class will focus more on a broader knowledge of theory and terminology.*
