7:30pm - 8:45pm: "SHARED AXIS & VOLCADAS", immersive workshop with Martin Almiron. In this workshop, you will explore techniques to create balance, connection, and fluidity with your partner, while learning to execute elegant and dynamic volcadas. Perfect for dancers looking to deepen their understanding of tango’s shared movements and enhance their social and stage presence. Whether you want to improve your lead/follow skills or add more creativity to your dance, this workshop will give you practical tools and playful exercises to bring precision, style, and confidence to your tango!

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Martín Almirón is a highly accomplished tango dancer based in NYC, whose illustrious career is marked by exceptional achievements. Trained at the National University of Arts and University of San Martín in Buenos Aires, he is a five-time World Tango Dance Championship finalist in both Salon and Stage Tango categories. Almirón has graced the stages of the world’s most prestigious theaters, including New York City Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, American Repertory Theater in Boston, National Theatre of Panama and the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. His remarkable talent has led him to perform in acclaimed productions such as Broadway’s "Evita," where he also served as the Tango Dance Captain.
