Join us for a day to learn how to sew a victorian walking skirt, understand traditional victorian methods and how to modernise it for steampunk. Carrie Wilson is a professional costumer and will be on hand with tips and ideas. Join Lara, Katie and Louise sharing their making techniques and ideas, whilst enjoying Tipsy Kitten wares and understanding makeup techniques.Bring your own sewing machine and material. We will be using Truly Victorian walking skirt pattern, which you can down load from the Truly Victorian website, but please also bring any similar pattern you may have.
The will also be a stash busting swap, please bring any fabric you would like to get rid of or simply swap for more!!
There is a cost for this event of £15 per person and please bring your own refreshments and
snacks, there is a kitchen for tea and coffee.
