Enjoy savory treats and exquisite teas. After we will learn about the evolvling burial traditions that were taking place during the Victorian era Randy Rogers, Green Lawn Cemetery trustee since 2011 & Executive Director of the cemetery association, will discuss the founding of Ohio’s 2nd largest cemetery as part of the Rural Cemetery Movement. With a background in wildlife management & history, he will present a unique perspective on Green Lawn, its place in Columbus, value as an arboretum, Audubon Bird Area, and highlight the connection with the Kelton family.
Limited space, reservations required. Free museum tour available after tea. A portion of the proceeds will go to the preservation efforts of both Green Lawn Cemetery and the Kelton House Museum and Garden.
