Join us for a Victorian Christmas ball on Saturday, December 28th at the Ringgold Depot, a lovely mid-Victorian venue. Victorian dress is highly encouraged, but also feel free to wear anything festive. There will be live music provided by Sweet Georgia Sound's smaller band. We will be serving punch and cookies, and some other fun Victorian treats. Dances will be from the 19th century, but not to worry if you don’t known them. We will teach a few, with lots of group dances taught on site at the ball. Richard Powers will be your host for the evening. This ball is part of a larger Richard Powers Victorian Dance Weekend December 27-29th. While the weekend workshop is limited to 50, we will be opening up the ball to other attendees. Tickets will be available prior to the event online for $20, or sold onsite for $30. Tickets will open on October 1st.
