About this Event
Victoria Sol is a Cuban-American artist, vocalist, and songwriter based between Miami and San Francisco. She is currently collaborating with East Bay jazz musicians on a new project inspired by their shared love of improvisation, storytelling, and worldbuilding through sound. Her debut EP explores themes of place, ancestry, climate catastrophe, grief, and loss. She is influenced by iconic artists such as Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell, Ella Fitzgerald, Betty Carter, and Anita O’Day. Her sound has been compared to Esperanza Spalding and Nai Palm (but that’s for you to decide.)
