Here's what you can expect
DAY 1 (Nov 15)
WORKSHOP - Working with Adults with ADHD
A full-day workshop with Dr. Elisabeth Baerg Hall and Dr. Candice Murray. BCACC is bringing together two sought-after educators to lead a full day of experiential learning on working with Adult ADHD.
-Become familiar with differing presentations of ADHD in adulthood.
-Review the main screening tools for ADHD and understand the process of obtaining a diagnosis.
-Discuss current neurobiology of ADHD with a view to client education.
-Differentiate ADHD from common mental health conditions.
-Identify key functioning challenges experienced by clients with ADHD.
-Discuss practical techniques to support clients with ADHD in their everyday lives.
DAY 2 (Nov 16)
WORKSHOP: Clinical Supervision: Adding value to clinical work in different environments
A ½ day workshop with Psychologist, Dr. Jeff Chang and the BCACC Clinical Supervision Committee. This workshop aims to bring valuable insight and invite discussion and learning around Clinical Supervision from a systemic context.
Topics include:
-Supervision within agencies and mental health environments
-How do supervision needs differ across the lifespan of a clinical counsellor/psychotherapist
-Getting the most out of supervision

Whether you’re interested in becoming an Approved Clinical Supervisor, exploring supervisory roles and supervision processes, or seeking to understand the value of supervision as a clinical counsellor/psychotherapist, our three-hour workshop will equip you with valuable tools for your professional toolbox.
A ½ day Roundtable Discussion: Mental Health and Counselling in your Region
You have more to contribute to your region than you know. BCACC will bring together mental health thought leaders and important local stakeholders to connect with attendees for a rich discussion on the state of mental health and counselling in the region.
