About this Event

Following the announcement that eight charities across the region have been awarded funding from the WMPCC’s Victims Fund, a networking and engagement afternoon is being organised for the successful service providers to showcase their projects.

All successful projects are linked to priorities within the PCC’s Police and Crime Plan. These include helping victims of domestic abuse, child sexual exploitation, stalking, harassment, female genital mutilation, hate crime and modern slavery to deal with the impact criminal behaviour has had on the lives of victims.

The event, which will take place at the Police Headquarters, Lloyd House - Will be opened by the West Midlands Victims Commissioner, Nicky Brennan, followed by a short presentation from each of the successful project providers.

The remainder of the day will provide an opportunity for providers and stakeholders to engage and build relationships with each other, and to develop ways of working in collaboration

A light lunch and afternoon teas and coffees will be provided on the day.
