Are you or someone you know looking to volunteer with The Phoenix Center? If so, we welcome you to join us for our February 2026 Victim Advocacy Volunteer Training! This training will be held February 24th and 25th, 2026 from 8:00am - 5:00 pm both days at The Phoenix Center, 519 Ramsey Street. Both classes will need to be attended in order to complete the training. Training is free of charge.Come learn how to help your community by attending our Victim Advocacy Volunteer Training at The Phoenix Center. In the training, you will learn about the stigma that victims can face, the complicated laws surrounding sexual assault, reporting the crime and healing options available to victims, and how to help a victim in crisis. This is a required class for each of our volunteers, but it is open to the public. If you would like to volunteer with us, or if you want to learn how to better serve the victims of sexual violence that you interact with every day, we would love to see you there.
