About this Event
Join us for a nourishing evening as we gather around the fire under the Aries New Moon. We will kindle the flame of our collective altar, receive the medicine of ceremonial cacao, and immerse our bodies and minds in the soothing vibrations of sound healing.
New Moons are a time of new begginings — portals for growth and deep transformation. They offer the perfect opportunity to set intentions by the fire and create space for something new in your life.
Come with an open heart, ready to receive, and allow yourself to be held in the warmth of community and ceremony.
We will open the doors at 6:45pm to give you time to arrive into the space, and the gathering will start at 7pm at our beautiful location The Moon Sanctuary in Atwater Village, East LA.

WHAT TO BRING?
We invite all participants to bring offerings of flowers, seeds and fruit to co-create a communal altar. Bring tobacco or/and healing herbs to gift our sacred fire.
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a blanket and your yoga mat, water canteen.
Come with an open heart, ready to receive, and allow yourself to be held in the warmth of community and ceremony.
Facilitator Bio:
Rita is an enthusiast student of life, nature, its elements and cycles.
She considers herself a musician, a sound healing artist, a ceremonialist and a facilitator.
Her spiritual path led her to integrate her life long classical music studies, music therapy and sound healing, yoga, reiki and earth-based practices into her healing work and the work she facilitates. In her personal journey she has been working with different plant and animal medicine allies; with a long-lasting love and deepen relation with the medicine of Cacao and Fungi.
Rita has been holding circles and gatherings sharing these ancestral practices with deep reverence and grace. She celebrates her teachers and all the teachers before them, along side the stewards and keepers of the sacred medicines she shares; as well as all her clients, students and all the different paths of life.

Heather Shough is a musician and death doula, she weaves the healing power of sound with deep presence and intuitive guidance.
Through the use of vocals and a variety of instruments, she creates immersive soundscapes that invite relaxation, reflection, and energetic realignment.
Rooted in deep connection with nature, the unseen realms, and with a heart for sacred service, Heather holds space for profound inner exploration — offering music as a bridge between worlds, a balm for the soul, and an invitation to surrender into the mystery of sound and spirit.
