Every year, TD Salsa in Toronto hosts a Latin Art Exhibition highlighting the most inspiring pieces from Latino and Hispanic artists celebrating Canada’s rich multiculturalism and Toronto’s love for Latin culture.
TD Salsa in Toronto Festival and the Little EGG Gallery showcase the Vibrante Under 18 Art Show, Presented by TLN Media Group, as part of this year’s festival lineup.
Vibrante is a Latino-themed exhibition featuring young under 18 artists whose works showcase and explore the colours and vibrancy of the Latino culture.
Vibrante presents nearly 60 curated artworks by 40 artists from Asia, Africa and North America. Little EGG is proud to exhibit artists as young as 4 and all the way to 17.
The Little EGG Gallery is a specialized gallery space created for under 18 artists, and showcases the next generation of local artistic talent. It provides accessible, jury-free space for budding teenage and younger artists to showcase their work in a professional environment.
The gallery is the creation of Nalin Kamat, a 14-year-old award winning artist. He started the gallery due to his own personal experiences and hardships when he tried to exhibit his artwork.
Each night has a theme colour. All guests are encouraged to wear one article of clothing in that colour. Anyone sporting the colour of the night will be entered into a random draw to select a winner.
