LAZARO
A Berlin-based live act and sound artist delivering raw, visceral and hypnotic performances shaped through analog machines.
He’s one half of Alnithra.incidents, a live audiovisual duo of experimental cinema, and co-founder of Cimera, a platform for experimental performance.
He also works as a sound designer for contemporary theatre and performance projects.
QUALIA
A Berlin-based live act blending electro and techno with analog synthesizers, drum machines, and modular systems, crafting sets that delve deep into the world of retrofuturism, on a nostalgic journey through “lost futures” and fabricated memories, underscored by a commentary on techno-dependence.
RANDOM GODS
An elusive figure amidst the Portuguese electronic scene, Timóteo Azevedo aka Random Gods released this year his debut album on Discrepant's sub label Souk.
With two previous EPs on Danse Noire and ZABRA, and several remixes and compilations, Random Gods' futurist visions project themselves through a scavenger-like body music assembled from the hopes and debris of these uncertain and dread-inducing times. Rituals conjured from metal shards, blunted kickdrums, submerged basslines, reverberating textures, cut up vocals and lazer guided melodies.
KARA KONCHAR
Steady dungeoneer of the Portuguese underground, Kara Konchar doesn’t look at recipes for music. With a head-on hands-on approach he crafts mischievous body bass music with a flirt for darker sounds. While always keeping his own gusto, live performances are crafted one by one and very rarely repeat themselves.
He has made eight offerings since 2019, on labels such as Capital Decay, Rotten Rotten \ Fresh, Regulator Records and self-released. Paid a few social calls on a handful of compilations (Mera, Samain, Weathervane) and a couple remixes (Photonz, João Vairinhos).
