This is an open invitation to all local combat veterans, from all eras, if you meet the requirements of joining the VFW. Log on to www.VFW.org to see the requirements. Post members, if you again know a veteran who wishes to join our little band, invite them along. Remember we are VFW Post 5293 Southtown Joplin. We are Veterans helping Veterans!Commander Roberts stated the meeting will be held in the Post. If you plan to attend, leave a commitment to that fact below, or you will be receiving a phone call on the same subject. To recall, the meeting will start at 6:00 PM. This is your Post and your viewpoint is very important to steer our Post business into a means of helping local veterans and their families. Commander Roberts hopes to see you on the second Tuesday of each month @ 6 pm. Remember your $1.00 for the fishbowl drawing, you have up to the start of the meeting to take part. Maybe you will be the "lucky ducky".
