VFW Post 2342 invites the community to join them on Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00am – 4:00pm to see firsthand how our veterans help our community and the veteran population. VFW Day of Service is part of the VFW’s #StillServing campaign and unites veterans across America around a common goal — showing the nation the impact veterans make in their communities. This annual nationwide initiative was designed to highlight the spirit of service that continues beyond military duty. Here in Fort Lee our Veterans are more than just heroes who served our country – they are leaders, mentors and active contributors who help shape and strengthen our community every day. As Mayor Sokolich always says, “our veterans are our trophies. They are who we love to brag about in Fort Lee.” Please consider taking some time out of your day on May 3rd to come and meet and talk with our veterans and see why Mayor Sokolich is so proud of the men and women of VFW Post 2342.
