A VFW Auxiliary School of Instruction (SOI) is a training event organized by the VFW Auxiliary's Department or District at the beginning of the Program Year. These schools provide members, officers, and chairmen with current information on programs and reporting procedures, and are an excellent opportunity to learn more about the organization's traditions, rituals, and how to better serve veterans and the community. Members are encouraged to make every effort to attend these local training sessions.
