Course Details:

*Please note: You will be required on Day 1 at 8:30am to attend the welcome oritenation, after that your schedule will continue from 9am - 4pm (schedule provided a couple of weeks before start date)
Digital Design (Summer Intensive) Motion Design
Explore the creative process and technical prowess of being a Motion Designer through this 5-day workshop. This hands-on experience will enhance your technical skills, enrich your creative portfolio, and provide a glimpse into our full-time programs. Guided by industry professionals, students will first creatively interpret a song, craft a visual narrative that enhances the song’s experience, and delve into Adobe After Effects to design a short, looping reel designed to accompany the music, akin to the reels found on Spotify, YouTube and Instagram.
You will:
- Understand the principles of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Create and record assets to use in the Adobe Suite Cloud
- Edit a short video using Premiere Pro
- Animate and composite graphic elements using Adobe After Effects
- Be able to track mattes and implement motion tracking
- Be able to render a project
What you'll need:
- Headphones *Not Wireless
- USB to take any projects home
- Pen and a notebook to sketch ideas and take notes
Prerequisites:
Students are not required to have any previous training or experience.
Applicants must be 16 years old at start of intensives
Language requirement: Intermediate-level English (minimum requirement of IELTS 6.0)
