Digital Design instructor Kelsie Lee – a Communication Designer whose clients include Vancouver Canucks, Whitecaps FC, and Pacific FC – will share exclusive industry insights in the world of motion design and break down the relationship between designers and their clients. She’ll also detail how motion design is a foundational part of VFS’s Digital Design curriculum.

INDUSTRY TALK: BUILDING A CAREER IN DIGITAL DESIGN

VFS Senior Instructor Nour Al-Amoudi will be joined by successful Digital Design alumni (stay tuned for this announcement!) to share exclusive industry insights & career tips and how VFS’s Digital Design program launches careers in Motion Design and UX/UI Design.

VIEW DIGITAL DESIGN PORTFOLIO PROJECTS

You’ll have the opportunity to view samples of Digital Design student work, including two key projects: The Client Project and the Graduate Project. In term three, students collaborate with a real-world client, guided by a faculty liaison, to develop an effective design solution. Through terms four to six, they also work with an industry mentor through ideation, pitching, and project development. The showcased case studies and reels highlight work from both Digital Design specializations: UX/UI and Motion Design.

MEET THE HEAD OF THE DIGITAL DESIGN PROGRAM

Tom Fedechko explains the 1-year journey of Digital Design students at VFS. An experienced Writer and Performer with over 20 years of leadership experience, Tom empowers artists to become fearlessly creative in their careers. Discover how VFS’s industry-leading curriculum in a production-focused environment allows our students to master motion or UX/UI design in just 1 short year.
