I'm excited to announce the second annual Veterans Telling Stories reading at Open Book. All are welcome to come hear work from students and teachers from the Veteran and Veteran Family communities! The reading will take place at the Open Book Performance Hall on November 15th at 6pm.Throughout 2025, teachers and guest authors from the Veteran and Veteran Family community have taught FREE creative writing classes to Veterans and their family members.
This year, between single session classes, 10-week workshops, and a women's retreat, we have taught over 50 students between more than 200 classroom hours. And we already have 120 classroom hours scheduled for 2026!
