Veterans Forge Days at the HRVEC
Drop in and chat with Veterans Forge about AI, jobs, and how the workforce is changing. This is a weekly, come as you are meetup for veterans, transitioning service members, and military-connected families who want practical answers without the hype. On Thursdays, twice a month, we set up at the Hampton Roads Veterans Employment Center in Newport News to swap ideas, answer questions, and help you connect your military experience to high-value skills employers want now.
What to Expect:
🔹 AI + Workforce Conversations – Ask anything about AI, how it’s showing up in hiring and workplaces, and how to use it responsibly as a career tool.
🔹 Career Translation Help – Get support turning “I did hard things in uniform” into clear, civilian-ready value for resumes, LinkedIn, interviews, and networking.
🔹 No Pressure, No Prep – No slides, no formal workshop, no prior AI experience needed. Just show up with your questions.
Bring If You Want:
💻 BYOL (optional) – Bring a laptop if you want to try a few tools live. If not, totally fine.
