The Pro Football Hall of Fame will host its annual Veterans Day Event & Expo presented by Oswald on Monday, Nov. 11.Free museum admission will be provided to U.S service members, National Guard and veterans – plus a guest. Blue Star Mothers and Gold Star Families will also receive complimentary admission all day. Additionally, each of these parties will receive a 20% discount in the Hall of Fame Store that day.
Veteran organizations will be set up throughout the museum from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., educating veterans on the various services available to them. Vendors include Caregiver Support, Honor Court, Legacy of Honor, Oak Street Health, Stark County Vet Center, Veterans Outreach, Veterans Service Commission of Stark County and Wounded Warrior Project.
Upon arrival, veterans will receive a checklist to encourage them to stop at each vendor’s booth as they tour the Hall. Once completed, the checklist can be turned in to enter a drawing for an NFL Salute to Service helmet from the Hall of Fame Store.
De Ann Williams, executive director of the Veterans Service Commission of Stark County, will speak to those in attendance at 12:30 p.m. in the Gold Jacket Lounge. Lunch will be provided to Veterans in attendance while supplies last.
Additionally, the first 500 visitors to the Hall on Nov. 11 will receive a free commemorative Veterans Day pin.
Valid proof of military service must be shown at the Hall’s Box Office to redeem free admission. The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
