Veterans BreakfastIllinois Lutheran High School will be hosting a Veterans Day Breakfast on Friday, November 15, from 9 AM - 11:30 AM. A light breakfast will be served. Veterans are welcome to attend and bring a spouse or family member.
Illinois Lutheran Elementary first and second grade students will be singing patriotic songs. There will also be information from Mr. David Brown, a Veterans Outreach Program Specialist. Thrivent Financial will be providing food and beverages.
All Veterans are welcome to bring photos, medals, or any memorabilia. If any Veteran is comfortable speaking about their service to the students and the group, you will be welcome to do so. This is an opportunity for individuals to learn first- hand accounts of the Veterans experiences.
