Wartime veterans and their families, as well as surviving spouses, are encouraged to attend a free veterans benefits presentation at Chancellor’s Village on Friday, March 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at 12100 Chancellors Village Lane, Fredericksburg. The session is designed to help veterans and their families better understand and access the benefits they’ve earned, such as Aid and Attendance. Learn how this enhanced pension can help cover care-related expenses. Plus, Leashes of Valor will be on-site with their canines.
Leashes of Valor is a national nonprofit that provides highly trained service dogs to post-9/11 veterans to help with symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, and other unseen wounds of military service.
