Want to get better at money but not sure where to start? Our very first Vestpod Festival dedicated to building wealth will show you how. A day for yourself, to learn, reflect, be inspired… and have fun!

Women in the UK are paid just 90p for every £1 earned by a man and are more likely to take on caring roles and invest less. This takes a massive toll on women's pensions, and the average woman retires with half as much in her pension pot as a man.

Here at Vestpod, we’ve been working to change that. We make finance relatable, easy to understand and fun by giving anyone the tools and confidence they need to achieve their goals. We also create a nice, vibrant, supportive atmosphere.

Now we’re hosting our biggest and most exciting event yet in one of the UK’s most stunning venues. It’s an IRL gathering of women who are celebrating, learning from and empowering one another. From 9:30am to 6:30pm, we’ll be at the Ned in the City of London – a beautiful former Midland Bank building completely transformed for the day to host:

  • Inspiring talks
  • Workshops
  • Breakfast, lunch and drinks
  • DJ and music
  • Activities
  • Bookshop

Speakers include:

  • Mother Pukka
  • Laura Whateley
  • Davinia Tomlinson
  • Vicky Spratt
  • Davinia Tomlinson
  • Romi Savova
  • More speakers will be announced soon!

You’ll walk away from the day with:

  • A deeper understanding of your money mindset and emotional blocks around finance
  • Challenges that women face around money and how to overcome them: cost of childcare, flexible work
  • Tools for navigating the cost of living crisis and inflation
  • Guidance around knowing your worth
  • Insights on investing for the long-term
  • Tips on using money as a force for good and activism

The festival is also a chance to:

  • Connect you with like-minded women who value their financial health
  • Meet inspiring speakers who have no-nonsense practical advice
  • Debunk the financial jargon in a warm, friendly environment.

This event is for you if you've ever wondered:

  • How to develop a new mindset and understand money is power for you and your work
  • How to manage your finances
  • How to build wealth.

Who’s hosting it?

“I have always dreamt about organising a festival for the Vestpod community. I love bringing people together, and it’s especially important at this point in time. With inequalities and wealth gaps, we need to understand the world and do what we can for ourselves and the women around us. We won’t reach pay parity any time soon, markets are volatile, and energy prices shooting up, so where do we find peace, inspiration and confidence to take care of ourselves financially? I want you to know that you’re worthy.”

I am Emilie Bellet, founder and CEO of Vestpod. Formerly working in private equity, I launched Vestpod to change the conversation about money and empower women financially. I started my career at Lehman Brothers where I worked as an analyst in private equity merchant banking.

Reflecting on my years working in finance, I realized I was not saving or investing enough and could not find the support to do so. I then decided to launch Vestpod for women - as a way to provide education and a community for women to start breaking the taboo around money. Vestpod is a digital platform with a popular weekly newsletter as well as personal finance workshops and networking events.
