About this Event

We invite you to celebrate — the Festival of Lights — with us in a special evening of creative illumination, crafting your own timeless clay vessels for light with Top Hat Supply of Journeys & Ursi.co.

Workshop | October 21st Diwali| 3 hours 6 -9 pm

Together, we’ll hand-shape our own ceramic vesselsand open guided meditation on Light, calling-in what creative form wants to come through clay. These vessels will become carriers of flame, intention, and beauty through the season of renewal.

This workshop is both a creative practice and a chance to honor the light and abundance in our own lives and wish that for others — shaping clay in community and crafting something timeless to hold your own flame.

About Festival of LightsFestival of Lights like Diwali are celebrated around the world as a time of renewal, abundance, and illumination. It symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. Traditionally, families light oil lamps to invite joy, prosperity, and clarity into their lives and homes. In Hinduism, they call in Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, prosperity for blessings of a year of fortune and abundance.

Please arrive at 6:00 as late arrivals will disrupt the meditation. We will serve tea, and water. We will begin promptly at 6:15. No knowledge or experience with anything is necessary. This is a creative sanctuary and we hold space for people to just enjoy themselves and be playful in trying something new.
